Paws in Action:
Dorchester Paws offers a variety of programs that bring the community together to support animals in need. Mutts for Miles pairs active community members with shelter dogs for a one-hour walk or run each week, helping the dogs release energy and gain exposure to potential adopters. Doggie Dates let dogs leave the shelter for an afternoon of fun, whether it’s lunch, errands, or visiting dog-friendly spots, giving them a chance to shine outside the shelter.
Our Oyster Roast is an annual event where the community enjoys food, fun, and fundraising to support our mission. Additionally, our Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) Community Cat Clinics offer spay and neuter services to help control the local cat population. These programs help provide better care, increase visibility for adoptable animals, and strengthen our community.
